Tobias Kurig
Tobi's instrument is commonly referred to as a “Blarge” - an abbreviation for a large, open tuned Bouzouki with five pairs of strings. He is responsible for the powerful and dynamic accompaniment in the band.
He has also played with many other groups around Germany including Shanachie, Déirin Dé and Steampacket. For many year now Tobias has been playing traditional Irish music, but this wasn't always the case. He spent many year playing in a rock band on electric bass and was slowly submerged in to the trad scene after meeting Ann Grealy the singer from Déirin Dé and his latest venture is with the group Núa
