Emily Spiers Debut Album - The Half~Moon Lovers

Emily Spiers from Oxford presents her solo debut „The Half-Moon Lovers“ which has been recorded with a number musicians from Germany, Ireland and England. The album contains a wonderful mixture of Irish and English songs, which allow Emily to show all her voice’s flexibility. Emily Spiers performs regularly with the band Blue in Britain and Germany.

Blue's Debut Album - Featuring Colman Connolly

It was Colmans Debut performance with Déirin Dé in 2004 where he got to know Tobi and the gang very well, and it was after these two week touring and playing tunes together in Germany that the idea to record a set of tunes came in to their minds. After falling miserably with a mini disc player and a dodgy microphone, they decided to head back to Fox Music Studios and do it right. With one thing leading to another, before they knew it they had more than they bargained for. This ablum started out as a 3 track recording for friend to listen to and enjoy but turned out to be a addiction as more and more sets of tunes we're added every time Colman came to visit. The two became more and more ingrosed in their mission to make beautiful music, harmonies, fiddles, cajon, bodhrán and even doulbe bass was being added to the mix to make this epic journey more and more exciting! below are some of the tracks from the album, which can be purched by clicking the paypal link.
